Warne Scope Mounts
The Warne Maxima 2-piece matte base for Weatherby Mark V Standard 6 lug rifles gives you a solid, low-profile foundation for mounting optics on one of the most popular bolt-action hunting rifles out there. Built on the proven Weaver design—one of the strongest and most versatile mounting platforms in use today—these steel bases deliver the kind of rock-solid repeatability that matters when you're zeroing in a rifle for hunting season or serious range work.
What sets the Maxima bases apart is their thoughtful engineering. The low-profile design means you can still use your rifle's iron sights when the optic is removed, keeping your options open in the field. The full-width recoil slots in each base work in concert with Warne Maxima QD rings to maximize bearing surface where it counts—at the recoil key interface—so your scope stays put through the nastiest weather and the hardest recoil. If you pair these with Maxima QD rings, you'll also be able to look over the top of the bases without sacrificing your normal shooting position, a practical feature for quick target acquisition or backup sight use.
Installation is straightforward: the bases secure to your Weatherby with Torx-style T-15 socket cap screws, and Warne recommends 25 in/lb. of torque. The matte finish keeps glare down and blends with most hunting and tactical rifle setups. Whether you're building a long-range rig, a hunting rifle, or a backup precision firearm, these bases give you the stability and flexibility to do the job right.
