The Viridian C5L green laser and light for Kimber Micro CDS9 is a dual-function tactical accessory built specifically for the compact 9mm that rides in your waistband or pocket. If you carry a Micro CDS9 for concealed carry or self-defense, this integrated green laser and light system turns a capable little pistol into one that rewards low-light performance and rapid target acquisition without adding bulk to an already trim platform.

The green laser cuts through the darkness and gives you an aiming reference that works fast—no squinting at iron sights in poor visibility. The 550-lumen tactical light handles everything from identifying a threat to navigating a dark hallway, and the 26,000 candela output means it reaches far enough to matter. Both systems run from a rechargeable battery, so you're not burning through coin cells or fumbling with replacements before a critical moment.

This is purpose-built hardware for a purpose-built gun. The C5L mounts directly to your Micro CDS9 and stays there, keeping your carry rig slim and snag-free. If concealed carry in 9mm is your world, and you want optics that actually enhance your ability to see and aim in darkness, the Viridian C5L is the kind of upgrade that makes sense.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is the Viridian C5L compatible with other 9mm pistols?

No—this unit is designed and fitted specifically for the Kimber Micro CDS9. Viridian makes other laser and light systems for different platforms, but the C5L is engineered for this compact carry gun.

Can I use the laser or light independently, or are they always on together?

We don't have detailed operating information on independent control of the laser versus light in the specs provided. Check with Viridian or contact us for specifics on activation modes.

What's the battery life on a full charge?

That detail isn't included in our specs. Viridian's rechargeable batteries are built for carry-gun duty, but you'll want to confirm runtime expectations with the manufacturer documentation.

Does this add significant weight or bulk to a concealed carry gun?

The C5L is designed to maintain the compact profile of the Micro CDS9, but any light/laser system will add some weight and dimension. It's built as a minimal-intrusion option for this specific pistol, so it shouldn't compromise your ability to carry concealed—but how it feels on your gun is best judged hands-on.
