Viking Tactics
The Viking Tactics VTAC Wide Padded Rifle Sling Upgrade in Black is a two-point quick-adjust sling built for shooters who demand both comfort and control. Whether you're hunting, running drills at the range, or working tactically, a quality sling transforms how you carry and deploy your rifle—and VTAC's wide padded design does it without the fuss of traditional single-point systems. The padded center section spreads load across your body, reducing fatigue during long days afield or at the range, while the quick-adjust mechanism lets you shift from tactical carry to firing position with one hand.
What sets this upgrade apart is the blend of practical features born from real-world use. The textured rubber pull tab gives you positive, no-slip control when cinching the sling tight or loosening it fast. Metal hardware throughout—tri-glides, attachment points, and fittings—ups durability and won't wear or fray under hard use. The elastic tri-glide covers and stowage bands keep excess sling quiet and organized, eliminating rattle when metal hardware contacts itself or your gear. That's the kind of detail that matters when noise discipline counts.
Made in the USA from friction-resistant nylon with 1-inch attachment points, this sling handles the abuse. The 2-inch padded center section uses closed-cell foam that sheds water quickly, so morning hunts or wet-weather training won't leave you struggling with a waterlogged sling. At just under 6 ounces, it adds minimal weight, and the 60+ inches of adjustment range fits shooters of different builds and gear configurations. The velcro tail keeper keeps the working end stowed and ready, and black colorway matches any rifle setup.
VTAC's reputation is built on no-nonsense gear that works. This sling is a straightforward upgrade if you're tired of cheap nylon or uncomfortable single-point designs—it's the kind of piece that fades into the background until you need it, then just works.

Yes. The VTAC Wide Padded Sling has 1-inch attachment points that fit standard rifle sling mounts. If your rifle came with sling studs or quick-attach points designed for 1-inch width, this sling will mount directly.
Yes. The textured rubber pull tab is designed for quick one-handed adjustments, so you can tighten or loosen the sling without putting down your rifle or using both hands.
The 2-inch padded center section spreads the sling load across a wider area of your shoulder and chest, reducing pressure and fatigue during long carry. Most shooters find it much more comfortable than unpadded alternatives, especially over tactical gear or body armor, but the sling functions as a two-point design whether padded or not.
The nylon construction is friction-resistant and sheds water quickly, so it performs well in rain or wet environments. It won't absorb excessive moisture like some fabric slings, and the quick-drying design keeps it ready for use even after wet-weather training or hunting.
