The ATI Outdoors 5.56 16" Blackati Mil Sport Complete AR-15 upper is a plug-and-play solution for builders who want to skip the headaches of sourcing and assembling individual components. Drop this complete upper onto any MilSpec lower receiver and you're ready to shoot—no gunsmithing required. Whether you're building your first AR or adding to an existing platform, the Mil Sport line delivers solid performance at a straightforward price point.

Built on a 7075 T6 aluminum receiver with a 16" barrel chambered in 5.56 NATO, this upper handles everything from the range to hunting applications where an intermediate-length platform makes sense. The 1:8 twist rate stabilizes a wide variety of bullet weights, so you have flexibility in your ammunition choices. A 15" free-floating MLOK rail gives you plenty of real estate for mounting optics, lights, and other accessories without the rail affecting barrel harmonics.

The included bolt carrier group is phosphate-finished for durability in field conditions, and the micro gas block keeps things compact while the A2 flash hider tames muzzle signature. Everything arrives assembled and ready to mate to your lower—this is the kind of upper that eliminates assembly variables and gets you to the range faster. If you're looking for a no-fuss, MilSpec-compatible 5.56 upper that works with any standard AR-15 lower you own or plan to build, the Blackati Mil Sport checks the boxes.
