The Unity Tactical FAST Micro-S Mount is a purpose-built optics mount designed to get your dot sight picture faster and higher on the rifle. If you run an Aimpoint CompM5s, CompM5b, or Duty RDS, this mount establishes a 2.26" optical centerline that puts your sight at the proven FAST height standard — the same height as Unity's lineup of magnifier mounts. That matters when you're working through gear: night vision, gas mask, plate carrier, or just the way you naturally acquire a sight picture. The elevated sight line promotes a heads-up shooting posture that speeds up target acquisition and reduces fatigue during extended shooting or training.

Built from 7075 T6 aluminum and finished with Type III hard-coat anodizing, the Micro-S is tough enough for duty and tactical use without adding unnecessary weight — just 2.3 oz. It's a precision piece: CNC'd to keep your red dot rock-solid while you move. If you ever want to swap optics or add a magnifier in front of it, the Micro-S integrates seamlessly with Unity's FAST Magnifier Mount ecosystem. The mount also accepts a Quick Detach Lever (sold separately) if you need to run it that way.

This is a no-compromise mount for shooters who understand that optic height and repeatability matter. Whether you're setting up a duty rifle, a carbine for serious training, or a platform you plan to run hard, the Micro-S gets your dot where it needs to be.

Frequently Asked Questions

What red dot sights does the FAST Micro-S Mount fit?

The Micro-S is designed specifically for the Aimpoint CompM5s, CompM5b, and Duty RDS micro red dots. It will not fit other optic patterns.

What is FAST height and why does it matter?

FAST mounts establish a 2.26" optical centerline that keeps your sight picture higher and more comfortable, especially when wearing night vision, a gas mask, body armor, or other tactical gear. The elevated sight line also promotes a more natural heads-up shooting posture and faster visual processing on target.

Can I use the FAST Micro-S with magnifiers?

Yes. The Micro-S is fully compatible with Unity's entire line of FAST Magnifier Mounts, so you can build a modular optics setup that maintains the FAST height standard.

Can I add a Quick Detach system to this mount?

The Micro-S mount is designed to accept a Quick Detach Lever, which is sold separately. This allows you to remove and reattach your optic without losing zero.
