The Ultradyne UD5 chassis for Remington 700 Short Action rifles brings modern ergonomics and modularity to one of the most popular bolt-action platforms in precision shooting. Built to work right-handed, this black chassis transforms your 700 SA into a tactical or long-range rig with a rigid, repeatable platform that outlasts traditional stocks. Whether you're setting up a dedicated target rifle, a long-range hunting build, or a precision application that demands consistency, the UD5 gives you the foundation serious shooters rely on.

A quality chassis system does more than just look the part—it fundamentally changes how your rifle performs. The UD5's rigid construction minimizes flex and vibration compared to traditional wood or plastic stocks, which means more predictable zero retention and tighter groups. You get a modern ergonomic grip angle, better access to the magazine well, and the ability to dial in fit without guesswork. The matte black finish resists shine and blends well with most modern rifle builds.

This is a Remington 700 Short Action platform, so compatibility with your existing 700 SA trigger group, bolt, and barreled action is straightforward. The right-handed configuration suits most shooters and integrates standard AR-pattern grips and modern mounting options. If you're running a suppressor or building a precision rifle that needs a stable, professional-grade foundation, the UD5 delivers the kind of repeatability that shows up on paper.

Can I use this for long-range hunting and precision rifle competition?

Yes. The rigid, repeatable platform of a quality chassis system supports both applications. The UD5's construction is designed to minimize shift and vibration, which helps maintain zero and shot-to-shot consistency under field conditions or at the range.
