The TruGlo TGTG970GC Magnetic Steel Combo Tool for Glock Front Sights is a compact, purpose-built instrument for Glock owners who maintain their own pistols. Built from hardened steel with a built-in magnet, this multi-function tool handles two of the most common Glock gunsmithing tasks: front sight installation and removal, plus the manipulation of action and trigger pins during field-stripping and full disassembly. Whether you're swapping front sights for a different height or profile, or just breaking down your Glock for a thorough cleaning, this tool eliminates fumbling with improvised punches and lost fasteners.

The 2.5mm diameter steel pin is precisely sized for Glock front sight work, while the integrated magnet is a clever touch—it keeps the front sight screw from disappearing into your range bag or getting lost on the bench. The all-steel construction means this tool will outlast many of the guns it services. It's the kind of thing that costs almost nothing to own but saves frustration and protects your finish when you need a proper tool instead of whatever's in the junk drawer.

If you shoot Glocks and do your own maintenance, this belongs in your cleaning kit. It's compact enough to travel, durable enough to last decades, and it does its job without fuss or learning curve.

Frequently Asked Questions

Will this tool work on all Glock models?

Yes, the TruGlo combo tool is designed to fit all Glock front sight configurations. The 2.5mm pin is the standard size for Glock sight work across the entire lineup.

Can I use this tool for other firearms besides Glock?

This tool is specifically engineered for Glock pistols. While the pin diameter may coincidentally fit other firearms, it is designed and recommended for Glock front sights and Glock action/trigger pins.

What does the magnet do?

The internal magnet holds the front sight screw during installation so you don't drop it or lose it on the workbench. It's a small feature that makes a real difference when you're working on your pistol.

Is this tool suitable for field maintenance?

Yes. Its compact size and all-steel durability make it suitable for both bench work and field use, including disassembly for cleaning.
