The Truglo TFX Pro 1911 Kimber Cut Tritium/Fiber Optic Sight Set brings dependable low-light performance to your 1911, combining two proven illumination technologies in one ruggedized package. Designed for shooters who demand sights that work in any light condition—from daylight ranges to low-light defensive scenarios—the TFX Pro delivers constant visibility without batteries or charging. The green rear sight with orange front dot outline creates strong visual contrast for faster target acquisition, while the fiber optic rods harness ambient light during the day and the Swiss-sourced tritium vial keeps your sight picture glowing in darkness.

Built tough for professional and serious sporting use, these sights are machined from steel with Truglo's fortress finish for corrosion resistance and durability. The hermetically sealed TFX capsule protects the tritium and fiber optic elements from oils, solvents, and cleaning chemicals—so you won't hesitate to run these sights hard and keep your gun clean without worry. The rear U-notch design and angled front face also support emergency slide racking, a practical touch for defensive or duty applications. Made in the USA, the TFX Pro is machined and tested to exacting standards.

If you shoot a 1911 with a Kimber-cut dovetail, the TFX Pro sights will drop right in without gunsmithing. The combination of tritium and fiber optics means you're not locked into one lighting condition—your sights adapt from bright sun to pitch black, giving you consistent aiming reference across training sessions, competitions, and real-world use. For 1911 owners who want sights that handle the full spectrum of shooting, the TFX Pro is a straightforward upgrade.

Frequently Asked Questions

Will these sights fit my 1911?

The TFX Pro is cut for 1911 pistols with a Kimber dovetail. Confirm your 1911's dovetail before ordering; if your gun uses a different cut standard (such as Novak or 10/8), these sights will not fit without gunsmithing.

How do tritium and fiber optic sights work together?

Fiber optic rods collect and concentrate ambient light during the day, making the front sight appear bright and vivid in daylight or bright indoor ranges. The tritium vial glows independently in low light and darkness, ensuring you can see your sights when ambient light is gone. You get the benefit of both technologies without choosing one or the other.

Do these sights need batteries?

No. Tritium is self-illuminating and requires no charging or batteries. Fiber optic amplification is passive—it relies on available ambient light. The sights are always ready to use.

Are these sights protected from solvents and gun oils?

Yes. The hermetically sealed TFX capsule protects the tritium and fiber optic elements from oils, cleaning solvents, and chemicals, so you can clean and maintain your 1911 without worry of damaging the sights.
