The Troy Industries AR-15 Ambidextrous Magazine Release in matte finish solves a real problem for left-handed shooters and anyone who needs faster mag changes from unconventional positions. Unlike the factory right-side-only button, this ambidextrous magazine release lets you drop a magazine and reload smoothly whether you're shooting left-handed, from your support side, or transitioning between positions under stress. It's built with military-grade construction to handle repeated use without wear, and the matte black finish keeps things looking clean and tactical.

Installation is straightforward—it works just like swapping the factory magazine release, so you won't need a gunsmith or special tools. The design stays low-profile, so it won't snag gear or create unnecessary bulk on your lower receiver. If you already run an extended or oversized mag button, this ambidextrous unit works with those too, giving you flexibility to set up your rifle exactly how you want it.

One of the nice things about Troy's approach here is that it plays well with other upgrades. If you're running a Magpul BAD lever or Troy's own ambidextrous bolt release, this mag release won't interfere—they work together without compromise. That means you can build out a fully ambi-friendly AR without compatibility headaches.
