The Trijicon RMRcc pistol dovetail mount is a steel replacement rear sight base engineered to bring modern red dot optics to your carry or duty Glock without requiring an MOS-cut slide. If you're running a standard Glock frame—whether full-size or compact—this mount unlocks the speed and precision of the proven RMRcc system by occupying your existing rear dovetail slot, requiring no gunsmithing or permanent modifications. It's the straightforward path from iron sights to reflex optics for shooters who want to upgrade their sight picture without buying a new slide.

Built from steel and weighing just 34 grams, the mount is robust enough for duty or daily carry use. Installation is direct: remove your rear sight, slide this base into the dovetail, and secure your RMRcc on top. The black finish matches most Glock aesthetics and holds up to the recoil and environmental exposure that comes with serious shooting.

This mount works across the full Glock lineup—from the full-size G17 and G19 to the compact 42, 43, and 43X models—making it a versatile upgrade path whether you're a dedicated Glock shooter or trying red dots on multiple guns in your safe. The one compatibility caveat: it's not designed for Glock MOS models, which already have factory-cut optics mounting surfaces.

Red dot pistol shooting is faster and more forgiving than iron sights, and this dovetail mount brings that advantage to non-MOS Glocks affordably and without permanent slide modification.

Frequently Asked Questions

Will this mount work on my Glock MOS slide?

No. This dovetail mount is designed for standard, non-MOS Glock slides. MOS models have factory-machined optics mounting surfaces and require MOS-compatible mounting solutions.

Which Glock models does this mount fit?

It's compatible with all standard Glock pistol models, including full-size frames (like the G17 and G19) and compact models (including the 42, 43, and 43X). As long as your Glock isn't MOS-pattern, the dovetail mount will fit.

What optic does this mount use?

This mount is designed for the Trijicon RMRcc red dot optic.

Do I need a gunsmith to install this?

No. The mount replaces your rear sight and slides directly into the existing dovetail on your slide. No special tools or gunsmithing is required.
