The Trijicon ACOG 2X20 red crosshair is a compact, fixed-power riflescope built for shooters who need reliable close-to-medium range performance without unnecessary bulk. Adopted by the U.S. Marine Corps and Special Operations Forces, the ACOG has proven itself across more than a million units in the field—a track record that speaks to its engineering and durability under real-world conditions. With 2X magnification and a 20mm objective lens, this optic excels when you need fast target acquisition, quick sight picture, and a wide field of view on everything from carbines to designated marksman rifles.

The red crosshair reticle gives you a clean aiming point in varying light, and the Bindon Aiming Concept (BAC) is a game-changer: it lets you shoot with both eyes open, preserving situational awareness and depth perception instead of tunnel vision through the scope. That matters whether you're hunting, running carbine drills at the range, or working tactical courses. The forged aluminum-alloy housing is shock-resistant and built to absorb recoil and rough handling without losing zero—Trijicon didn't get its reputation by cutting corners on durability.

This is an optic that doesn't try to do everything; it does its job exceptionally well. No batteries, no complexity, no unnecessary features. Mount it, zero it, trust it. The ACOG 2X20 belongs on any rifle where you value reliability and performance over flash.

Frequently Asked Questions

What makes the Bindon Aiming Concept different from standard scope shooting?

BAC is designed to allow you to shoot with both eyes open instead of closing one eye and relying solely on the scope image. This preserves your peripheral vision, depth perception, and overall situational awareness—critical advantages in hunting, tactical training, and dynamic shooting scenarios where you need to stay aware of your surroundings.

Is the ACOG 2X20 suitable for hunting?

Yes. The 2X magnification and wide field of view make it well-suited for hunting applications, particularly at closer to medium ranges. The red crosshair is visible in varying light conditions, and the rugged construction handles the demands of field use.

Does this scope require batteries or electronic components?

The ACOG 2X20 is a passive optical system with no batteries or electronic components. It operates reliably in any condition without power requirements, making it a go-to optic for shooters who value simplicity and dependability.

What firearms can I mount this scope on?

The ACOG 2X20 is a standard-mount optic compatible with picatinny rails. Confirm your rifle's rail type and ring compatibility before purchase; Bosque Outdoors can help you select the right mounting solution for your platform.
