The Trijicon HD Night Sights for Smith & Wesson M&P/SD9/SD40 are a proven upgrade from factory iron sights, trusted by law enforcement and serious shooters who need reliable aiming solutions across all lighting conditions. These green tritium night sights feature a yellow outline front sight and black outline rear sight, engineered to give you a fast, intuitive sight picture whether you're shooting in daylight, low light, or complete darkness. The tritium vials glow without batteries—a passive technology that's been combat-tested for decades.

If you carry or train with an M&P, SD9, or SD40, upgrading to night sights is one of the highest-value modifications you can make. The front sight's yellow outline pops against most backgrounds and pairs with the green tritium glow to create multiple aiming references depending on ambient light. The rear sight's black outline keeps your focus on the front post while still remaining visible when you need it. Together, they eliminate that fumbling moment in low light when factory sights fade to invisibility.

Trijicon HD sights are built to handle the punishment of regular shooting and are resistant to the solvents and chemicals you'll use during cleaning and maintenance. If you're upgrading your carry gun or duty pistol and want sights that work the same way whether you're shooting at noon or midnight, these are the standard that agencies and competitive shooters have relied on for years.

Frequently Asked Questions

Will these night sights fit my Smith & Wesson pistol?

These sights are designed specifically for Smith & Wesson M&P, SD9, and SD40 models. Verify your exact model to confirm compatibility before purchase.

Do tritium sights require batteries or charging?

No. Tritium is a radioactive gas sealed inside the sight vials that glows continuously without any external power source, batteries, or charging required.

Can I use these sights in daylight?

Yes. The yellow outline on the front sight and black outline on the rear sight make them clearly visible in bright daylight, and the tritium vials provide an additional aiming reference in low light or darkness.

Are these sights durable enough for regular shooting and cleaning?

Yes. Trijicon HD night sights are engineered to withstand the recoil and impact of regular shooting and are resistant to harsh cleaning solvents and maintenance chemicals.
