The Trijicon 4x32 ACOG rifle scope is a combat-proven magnified optic built for serious shooters who need reliable performance without compromise. Originally developed to the specifications of US Special Operations Command, the ACOG has become the gold standard for tactical rifles, hunting platforms, and precision shooting where dependability matters. This matte-finish 4x32 model pairs moderate magnification with a 32mm objective lens, delivering a bright sight picture and wide field of view ideal for engaging targets from close range to 600 meters.

The reticle tells the story of the ACOG's design philosophy. During daylight, the crosshair appears crisp black for precise aiming. When the sun sets, Trijicon's patented tritium illumination takes over—the amber center glows automatically with zero batteries required, no electronics to fail, and no need to flip switches in low light. That same reticle incorporates a ranging subtension calibrated for .223 ammunition, allowing you to hold directly for bullet drop compensation out to 600 meters without turning adjustment knobs mid-engagement.

Build quality reflects the ACOG's military heritage. The forged aluminum housing is tough enough to handle duty use, hunting expeditions, or countless range sessions. The scope ships with everything needed to get running: a flattop adapter (TA51) for Picatinny rails, backup iron sights, a lens cleaning pen, protective scope caps with lanyard, and the full manual. Eye relief of 1.5 inches gives a proper sight picture for most shooting positions, and the 8mm exit pupil keeps the image bright across the field.

Whether you're setting up a modern sporting rifle, a precision .223 hunting rig, or maintaining a duty platform, the Trijicon ACOG represents decades of real-world refinement. It's not the flashiest optic on the shelf, but it's the one shooters trust when it has to work.

Frequently Asked Questions

What's included with the Trijicon ACOG?

The scope comes with a TA51 flattop adapter for Picatinny rails, backup iron sights, a rubber scope cap cover, a LENSPEN lens cleaning tool, a lanyard assembly for the adjuster caps, the ACOG manual, and a warranty card.

Does the ACOG work in low light without batteries?

Yes. The tritium illumination glows automatically at night and in dark environments with no batteries, electronics, or switches. During the day, the reticle appears black for precision daylight shooting.

Can this scope work on rifles other than .223?

The reticle and ranging subtension are calibrated specifically for .223 ammunition. While the scope can be mounted on other caliber rifles, the bullet drop compensation marks are optimized for .223 only.

What's the bullet drop compensation range?

The ranging reticle allows for hold-over compensation out to 600 meters without manual adjustment of the turrets. The reticle itself provides the necessary aiming points for that distance.
