The Trijicon Credo HX 1-6x24 30mm rifle scope is a versatile, low-power variable magnification optic built for hunters who need speed and clarity across changing light and distance. Designed around a practical 1–6x range, it excels in close-quarters brush hunting and mid-range field work where you can't predict whether your shot will break at 20 yards or 200. The red LED illuminated reticle and BDC Hunter holdover pattern calibrated for .223 Remington give you fast target acquisition in dim timber or open country without forcing you to fiddle with external controls mid-hunt.

Trijicon engineered the Credo HX with the realities of field hunting in mind. The satin black finish and low-profile turret design won't snag on gear or brush, and the repositionable magnification lever lets you dial the glass to suit your shooting position—whether you're glassing from a bench, shouldering prone, or ready in a treestand. An easy-focus eyepiece diopter accommodates individual vision, so the reticle stays sharp without hunting for focus. The exposed elevation adjusters include a zero stop, making it simple to return to your point of impact after dialing for distance.

Build quality is military-spec rugged. The scope is fully multi-coated for edge-to-edge clarity and excellent light transmission, and it's tested to withstand the abuse real hunting dishes out. User-selectable LED brightness with an off position between each setting means you can tune the dot from dim candlelight to midday glare. All windage and elevation adjustments are tool-free and crisp, with detents designed to prevent unwanted drift once you're zeroed.

If you hunt terrain where targets appear close and disappear fast, or you simply prefer a compact variable that doesn't demand you choose between a dedicated close-range and long-range scope, the Credo HX 1-6x24 bridges that gap without compromise.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is the Credo HX 1-6x24 a good choice for hunting in low light?

Yes. The red LED illuminated reticle and fully multi-coated broadband glass are specifically designed to deliver clarity from dawn to dusk. You can adjust the LED brightness to match ambient light, with an off setting between each brightness level, so you're never stuck with a dot that's too bright or too dim.

What caliber is the BDC reticle calibrated for?

The BDC Hunter reticle in this scope is calibrated for .223 Remington. If you shoot a different cartridge, the holdover marks won't be accurate for your load, so confirm caliber compatibility before purchase.

Can I use the magnification lever comfortably in different shooting positions?

Yes. The magnification lever is repositionable, so you can move it to suit your preferred grip, whether you're shooting from a bench, prone, or a field position like a tree or over a pack.

Does the Credo HX come with mounting rings?

The product listing does not specify whether rings are included. Contact us to confirm what's included with your purchase.
