Triggertech
The TriggerTech Primary Single-Stage Traditional Curved Trigger for Remington 700 is a purpose-built upgrade for shooters who demand a crisp, predictable break in competition, hunting, and precision rifle applications. This right-hand curved-lever trigger drops into any Remington 700 platform and delivers the shot-to-shot consistency that separates good groups from great ones. Whether you're running a precision rifle at distance, hunting from a blind, or threading targets on the range, a quality trigger is the one upgrade that touches every shot you take.
TriggerTech's Frictionless Release Technology is the heart of what makes this trigger feel different. Traditional triggers rely on polishing, coatings, and lubrication to reduce friction—all of which wear and change over time. This trigger eliminates that dependence entirely, meaning your pull stays crisp and consistent from shot one through shot ten thousand. The break is genuinely short, overtravel is minimal (sub-.015"), and there's zero creep—no mushy takeup, just a clean release. Adjust the pull weight from 1.5 to 4.0 pounds in 1-ounce increments using a simple external set screw; no gunsmithing or disassembly required.
Built tough for real use, the trigger housing is 7075 aluminum (anodized), while key internal components are hardened 440C stainless steel finished in durable PVD black. The included safety is removable, and the trigger comes ready to fire—no surprises, no hassle. Most shooters report that the measured pull weight feels about half a pound lighter than friction-based triggers at the same poundage, a testament to the frictionless design and the efficiency of the break itself.

Yes—this Primary trigger is designed as a drop-in for any Remington 700 platform rifle. Right-hand configuration is specified; ensure it matches your rifle's orientation before ordering.
The pull weight adjusts from 1.5 to 4.0 pounds via an external set screw accessible without disassembly, in 1-ounce increments. No gunsmithing required.
Unlike traditional triggers that depend on polishing and lubrication to reduce friction (both of which degrade over time), this trigger eliminates friction at the engagement surfaces by design. The result is a break that remains crisp and consistent shot after shot, even after thousands of rounds.
Pull weight is affected by firing pin spring weight. Heavier-than-stock firing pin springs may cause pull weights to exceed the advertised range, so verify your setup if you run a non-standard spring.
