The TriggerTech DutyCurved Single-Stage AR-15 trigger brings serious reliability to your platform without sacrificing the performance that separates good shooters from great ones. Built on feedback from military and law enforcement operators, this 3.5 lb single-stage trigger delivers the zero-creep certainty and stainless steel durability TriggerTech is known for—but with a decidedly different feel. The longer takeup and forceful reset give you more tactile confidence with every shot, whether you're running drills at the range, working 3-Gun stages, managing varmint control, or handling close-quarters operations in harsh conditions.

What makes the Duty Line stand apart is its engineering philosophy: more pull weight and a longer first stage than you'll find on TriggerTech's precision offerings, followed by a mid-force reset that's unmistakably tactile. That deliberate feedback loop replaces hair-trigger sensitivity with certainty. The 0.000 creep and 0.070 reset specifications mean zero slop before the break and a defined, repeatable return to battery. It's the trigger equivalent of knowing exactly where your rifle stands.

The internals are 440C stainless steel with a durable PVD black finish; the housing uses EZAC diecast construction. Installation requires professional-level AR lower receiver knowledge—full detail stripping and safety verification are non-negotiable. If you're not comfortable there, get a competent gunsmith to do the work. This is a standard mil-spec pin fit, so it drops into any AR-15 lower built for that pattern.

Specifications

Frequently Asked Questions

Will this trigger fit my AR-15 lower receiver?

Yes, the TriggerTech Duty uses a standard mil-spec pin (0.154 inch), so it's compatible with any AR-15 lower built to mil-spec dimensions. Note that trigger pins are not included.

What's the difference between this single-stage and a two-stage trigger?

This is a single-stage trigger with a 3.5 lb pull weight and zero creep. It breaks cleanly without a separate first-stage takeup. TriggerTech makes two-stage Duty triggers with a longer first stage if you prefer that style.

Is this trigger suitable for duty and tactical use?

Yes. The Duty Line was specifically engineered from mil and law enforcement operator feedback. The longer takeup and forceful reset provide more tactile certainty for close-quarters work, harsh environments, and duty applications—it's also used in 3-Gun and varmint hunting.

Do I need a gunsmith to install this trigger?

Installation requires full detail stripping of your AR-15 lower receiver and professional-level knowledge of the platform. If you're not comfortable doing this work yourself, hire a competent gunsmith. Safety checks are mandatory.
