Traditions
The Traditions Vortek Strikerfire .45 Cal Stainless Steel Cerakote/RT Edge Muzzleloader is a modern inline muzzleloader engineered for hunters and precision shooters who demand consistent performance at extended range. Built around Traditions' proprietary StrikerFire system, this .45 caliber rifle combines a fast-twist VAPR barrel, refined trigger mechanics, and intelligent ergonomic design to deliver flat-shooting accuracy and reliable function in the field or on the range.
The .45 caliber platform shoots flatter and delivers higher velocity than larger bore options, making it an excellent choice if you're serious about 200+ yard performance. The 1:20" twist rate stabilizes a wider range of projectiles than traditional muzzleloader barrels, expanding your ammunition flexibility and helping you dial in the load that works best for your rifle and hunting conditions. The recessed de-cocking buttons allow silent, quick de-cocking without fumbling, and the automatic de-cocking mechanism engages whenever you open the breech—a genuine safety feature that other muzzleloaders overlook.
Where this rifle stands apart is its engineering philosophy: the StrikerFire system eliminates the external hammer entirely, which means faster locktime, cleaner scope mounting closer to the bore, and less overall weight to carry. Cocking is straightforward—just slide the striker button forward until it locks. The TAC2 trigger system is a two-stage, competition-style design that breaks clean and gives you the precision feedback you'd expect from a rifle at this level. The included Quick-T Ramrod Handle doubles as both a palm saver and T-handle, with a detachable brass jag for cleaning or loading, reducing fatigue during preparation.
This rifle ships without sights or scope base—you'll need to acquire those separately to complete your setup. The stainless steel construction with Cerakote finish and RT Edge treatment is built to handle harsh conditions and demanding use.
