Traditions
The Traditions Super Magnum Speed Loader 50 Caliber 2-Pack puts the essential tools for loading a modern inline muzzleloader into one compact, multi-function design. Built for hunters and range shooters who want to keep setup and loading efficient in the field or at the bench, this two-piece set handles the core tasks of muzzleloader preparation without fumbling through a dozen separate tools.
Each speed loader is engineered around the 50-caliber bore and does double duty: one end holds three 50-grain Pyrodex pellets—the charge that drives most modern in-line rounds—while the opposite end seats a projectile. The capper tops work as both #11 and musket caps, covering the ignition options you'll encounter across different muzzleloader platforms. The integral "T" function serves as a ball starter, giving you leverage and control when seating your bullet without crushing it or stripping threads.
This is kit-building done right for black powder shooting: no gimmicks, no wasted weight, just the three things you actually need at the loading line. Having two in the pack means a backup when one is in use, or doubles for a hunting partner. Whether you're prepping for an early-season hunt, running a string at the range, or dialing in a new rifle, the Traditions Super Magnum Speed Loader cuts the clutter and keeps you focused on the shot.
| Caliber | 50 |
| Pellet Capacity | Three 50-grain Pyrodex pellets |
| Cap Compatibility | #11 and musket caps |
| Quantity | 2-pack |
| Primary Function | Multi-function loader, capper, and ball starter |
Yes, this speed loader is designed specifically for 50-caliber muzzleloaders. It handles three 50-grain Pyrodex pellets and accommodates both #11 and musket cap ignition, covering the most common modern inline configurations.
The "T" works as a ball starter—a lever that helps you seat your projectile into the bore with controlled pressure. This prevents deformation and thread damage when initiating the bullet into the rifling.
The capper tops are designed to accommodate both #11 and musket caps, so you can use whichever ignition system your muzzleloader is set up for.
Two loaders give you a backup while one is in use, or allow you to have a pre-loaded round staged and ready while loading the next one. It's practical efficiency at the range or in the field.
