Traditions
The Traditions A1404 depriming tool is a compact, dual-purpose steel accessory built for muzzleloaders using 209 primers. If you shoot Traditions Evolution or Thunderbolt models, this tool earns its place in your reloading kit by handling two essential maintenance tasks: removing spent 209 primers from their adapters and servicing your hammer assembly. It's the kind of straightforward, hardworking gear that serious black powder shooters expect from a brand that understands their platform.
Built from steel with a u-shaped end for depriming, the A1404 lets you safely decap used 209 primers without the fumbling of improvised tools. The opposite end doubles as a hammer removal tool, streamlining your Evolution or Thunderbolt maintenance without requiring a trip to the workbench with multiple implements. Black powder shooting demands precision and care—this tool respects both.
Whether you're a dedicated muzzleloader hunter, a range shooter working up loads, or someone who simply takes pride in properly maintaining their firearms, the A1404 fills a gap that generic depriming tools don't address. It's designed specifically for your gun and your primer type, which matters when you're loading from scratch in the field or at the bench.
