The Timber Creek Outdoors Greyman Complete Build Kit AR-15 is a stripped or partial-assembly rifle kit designed for builders who want to finish their own AR platform rifle. Whether you're a first-time AR builder looking to learn the platform or an experienced shooter who prefers to assemble your own rifle, this kit gives you the core components to complete a functional, reliable rifle in black. Timber Creek Outdoors has built a reputation for quality AR parts and accessories, and this kit reflects that commitment to the shooter community.
Building your own AR-15 is one of the most rewarding ways to get a rifle tailored to your needs. With a complete build kit, you're getting a significant head start—no need to source upper and lower receivers, barrel, bolt carrier group, and furniture separately. This approach saves time, ensures compatibility, and lets you make informed decisions about every part that goes into your rifle.
The Greyman kit ships in black, a finish that works across hunting, sport shooting, and duty applications. Timber Creek Outdoors' build kits are built for shooters who understand that an AR-15 is a tool you customize to your mission, whether that's hunting, home defense, 3-gun competition, or precision rifle work. This kit is ideal for anyone who wants control over their build without the guesswork of sourcing parts individually.
Before assembly, confirm that all parts are included and in good condition. If you're new to AR building, don't hesitate to consult a gunsmith or experienced builder—proper assembly is essential for safety and reliability. Make sure you understand local and state laws governing AR-15 builds in your area.
The kit ships as a complete build package from Timber Creek Outdoors. For a detailed breakdown of which components (barrel, bolt carrier group, handguard, stock, etc.) are included, contact our team or consult the kit's documentation—component lists can vary by kit revision.
You'll likely need an AR armorer's wrench, a reaction rod or vise block, and a torque wrench for proper assembly. Depending on the kit's contents, you may also need to source a charging handle, safety, or trigger separately. Confirm the kit contents before ordering so you know what you'll need on the workbench.
AR-15 legality varies significantly by state and local jurisdiction. Before purchasing, research your local laws regarding AR platform builds, receiver registration, and features like stock type and magazine capacity. Timber Creek Outdoors cannot offer legal advice, but we're here to help you source compliant parts for your area.
A complete build kit contains most or all of the core components needed to assemble a functional rifle, but assembly and headspacing verification are your responsibility. The rifle is not ready to fire out of the box and must be properly assembled and tested before use.
