A Glock extended magazine release makes a real difference when you're running drills or working through a competition string—faster reloads, better ergonomics, less fumbling. The Timber Creek Outdoors GLEMRRE extended magazine release is built for Glock 17 and Glock 19 platforms and swaps out the factory lever for a more pronounced design that sits further out from the frame. It's machined from aluminum and anodized in a striking robin's egg blue finish that adds personality without compromising function.
If you run a Glock for carry, duty, or sport shooting, an extended mag release eliminates those extra milliseconds spent searching for the factory button—especially valuable if you're wearing a jacket, running gear, or gloves. The Timber Creek design is straightforward: it bolts on using the existing pin, requires no gunsmithing, and won't interfere with holster fit or daily handling. The anodized aluminum construction is durable enough for serious use, and the robin's egg blue finish is unmistakably yours in a safe or training environment.
Timber Creek Outdoors builds Glock parts with the same no-nonsense ethos that made their grip work and slide racker options popular among serious shooters. This extended mag release is the kind of simple, direct upgrade that doesn't reinvent the wheel—it just makes an existing control work better for your hands and your workflow.
| Brand | Timber Creek Outdoors |
| Model | GLEMRRE |
| Compatibility | Glock 17, Glock 19 |
| Material | Anodized aluminum |
| Finish | Robin's Egg Blue |
| Installation | Factory pin-retained |
Yes. The Timber Creek GLEMRRE extended magazine release is engineered for both Glock 17 and Glock 19 platforms.
No. The release uses the factory pin and requires no modifications. Installation is a simple swap that most shooters can handle in minutes.
The extended design sits further from the frame than the factory lever, but it shouldn't interfere with standard holster carry. If you run a very tight-fitting holster, test fit before committing to regular use.
Anodized aluminum is a hardy surface coating that resists corrosion and wear. The robin's egg blue finish should hold up well to normal shooting and handling, though any anodized part will show use over time.
