The Timber Creek Gstepd Greyman QD end plate is a steel receiver end plate built for AR-platform rifles that need a clean, functional upgrade from milspec hardware. Designed by Timber Creek Outdoor Inc, this quick-detach (QD) end plate handles the job of securing your receiver while adding the ability to mount QD sling attachments without fumbling with separate hardware. It's the kind of small-but-essential part that shooters reach for when they're setting up a rifle for serious use—hunting, tactical training, or any scenario where you want your sling system to stay locked in place and out of the way.
The steel construction means it'll stand up to hard use and the elements. The Greyman Desert finish is designed to blend in without standing out, keeping your build looking purposeful rather than flashy. Whether you're assembling an AR from scratch or upgrading an existing receiver, this end plate bolts directly to your AR-platform upper and lower receiver assembly—no special tools or gunsmithing required.
QD end plates are popular with hunters and shooters who want to run a quality sling system that connects reliably. Swap between rifles, adjust your carry position, or detach entirely without unscrewing anything. For anyone building or maintaining an AR, this is the kind of component that pays for itself in convenience and security.
Yes. The Timber Creek Gstepd Greyman QD end plate is designed for AR-platform rifles and installs directly to your receiver end.
A QD (quick-detach) end plate has an integrated sling mount that accepts standard QD sling swivels, letting you attach and detach your sling without tools. A standard end plate is just a plate—no QD functionality.
