The Tethrd Workhorse Platform XL is a purpose-built saddle hunting platform designed for hunters who need serious versatility without sacrificing a packable, lightweight setup. Built from die-cast aluminum, this hang-on treestand platform delivers the durability you need for season-long use while staying light enough to haul through the timber. If you're running a saddle system and want a rock-solid platform that handles uneven and leaning trees with confidence, the Workhorse XL gives you the footprint and features to hunt effectively from nearly any perch.
What sets the Workhorse Platform XL apart is its 360-degree shooting capability—toe wings and textured traction tread keep you secure and positioned to draw on game from any angle. The one-handed leveling system is a real field advantage when you're working against a crooked trunk; you can dial in your platform without wrestling with straps or needing both hands free. The entire rig packs flat, so transport and storage don't eat up truck bed space or closet real estate. Setup is straightforward thanks to the included zip cam strap, getting you settled and ready to hunt quickly.
The XL sizing means you've got the extra platform real estate that matters when you're spending hours in a saddle—room to shift weight, move your feet, and stay comfortable during the long sit. Whether you're a dedicated saddle hunter upgrading your setup or exploring saddle hunting for the first time, this platform bridges the gap between traditional hang-on stands and the minimalist saddle aesthetic.
