Templar Knife
The Templar Knife Paladin Lock Folder is a compact, reliable folding knife built for hunters, campers, and everyday carry who need a blade that holds an edge and handles tough field work. This model pairs a 3.27" drop point blade in D2 steel with a brown micarta handle for grip you can count on in wet conditions or heavy use. The locking mechanism keeps the blade secure during the hard cuts that matter—skinning game, processing firewood, or general camp duties.
D2 steel is a popular choice for working knives because it holds an edge longer than softer stainless options and resists corrosion well enough for outdoor use. The drop point shape is versatile: it excels at precise cuts and control without the piercing vulnerability of a blade with a sharp tip. The black powder coat on the blade resists rust and glare alike. Brown micarta scales offer genuine purchase when your hands are damp, sweaty, or cold—no plastic slipperiness here.
At roughly 4.4 inches closed, the Paladin is compact enough to pocket or clip to a pack without bulk, yet the 3.27" blade gives you real cutting surface when deployed. Whether you're breaking down a field dressing, camp cooking, or tackling everyday tasks, this is a knife that rewards confident handling and repays solid maintenance with years of service.

D2 is a high-carbon tool steel that holds an edge longer than softer stainless steels and resists corrosion well enough for field use. It's a traditional choice for working knives because it rewards sharpening and doesn't require the fussy care some premium stainless demands. For camp tasks, game processing, and general outdoor cutting, D2 offers honest performance at a practical cost.
Yes. The 3.27" drop point blade provides enough length and control for precision cuts in field dressing, and the locking mechanism keeps the blade secure during firm cuts. The brown micarta handle maintains grip in wet conditions common to game processing. Proper blade maintenance—cleaning and occasional stropping—will keep it sharp for repeated use.
The lock keeps the blade rigidly open and prevents unwanted closure during use. This is essential for any knife used in heavy field work; without it, you risk the blade folding during a cut and injuring your hand. Always verify the blade is locked before using the knife for any cutting task.
The Paladin's compact 4.4" closed length makes it suitable for EDC, and the drop point shape handles everyday cutting tasks cleanly. The brown micarta and black steel finish give it a purposeful, understated look that fits a field-oriented carry style.
