Thompson Center
The Thompson Center TCA 2020R Picatinny aluminum rail is a one-piece scope mount base designed to modernize your TC firearm with cross-slot ring compatibility. If you own a Thompson Center rifle with factory-drilled holes in the barrel, this Picatinny rail gives you a direct path to mounting optics that work with standard cross-slot rings—no gunsmithing required. The matte black finish blends with most TC profiles and won't add glare downrange.
Installation is straightforward: the rail mounts directly into your barrel's existing holes and secures with screws torqued to a modest 19 in-lbs. That simplicity is part of what makes it a go-to upgrade for hunters and target shooters looking to add a scope or red dot to a rifle that originally shipped with iron sights or a basic rail. Whether you're setting up a TC for whitetail season, precision rifle work, or transitioning an older gun to modern optics, this aluminum rail handles the job without fuss.
Built from aluminum for a balance of durability and light weight, the TCA 2020R is a no-nonsense accessory that opens up your optics options without breaking the bank or requiring a trip to a gunsmith. The one-piece construction ensures stable, repeatable performance once properly installed.

| Finish | Matte Black |
| Mount Type | Picatinny/Cross-Slot Ring |
| Installation | Direct barrel mount to factory-drilled holes |
| Torque Specification | 19 in-lbs |
The TCA 2020R mounts directly to factory-drilled holes in the barrel, so compatibility depends on your specific TC model having those holes. If your rifle has the factory drilling, installation is direct. Consult your rifle's manual or contact us if you're unsure whether your model matches.
The rail is designed to work with cross-slot rings, which are standard Picatinny ring mounts. This opens up thousands of scope and red dot options from major manufacturers. Your choice of optic is independent of the rail itself.
Tighten the screws to 19 in-lbs. Don't over-torque; that specification ensures a secure, repeatable mount without risking damage to the aluminum or the barrel threads.
No. If your TC rifle has factory-drilled holes in the barrel, you can install this rail yourself with basic tools. Align the rail, insert the screws, and torque to 19 in-lbs. If your rifle does not have the factory holes, gunsmithing will be required.
