The Taylors & Company 1873 .45 Colt lever action rifle is a faithful reproduction of one of the Old West's most iconic firearms. Built around the timeless Winchester 1873 design, this Model 204 delivers classic lines and reliable function—whether you're hunting, competing in cowboy action shooting, or simply appreciating a piece of firearms history. The 20-inch octagonal barrel and walnut checkered pistol grip stock give it authentic period character, while the case-hardened frame with blue finish strikes the right balance between traditional aesthetics and practical durability.

Lever action rifles hold a special place in American shooting culture, and the .45 Colt chambering pairs historical authenticity with moderate recoil and flat trajectory suitable for hunting medium game at reasonable ranges. At 7.59 pounds with an overall length of just under 39 inches, this rifle is nimble enough for brush country or horseback use. The 10-round capacity feeds smoothly through the proven Winchester-style action, and the buckhorn rear sight paired with a blade front sight provides classic open-sight aiming—dependable and quick to pick up.

Taylors & Company has earned respect among cowboy action shooters, hunters, and lever-gun enthusiasts for the quality of their reproductions. This 1873 .45 Colt is no exception.
