Taylors & Company
The Taylors & Company 1873 .357 Mag lever action rifle delivers authentic Old West handling in a modern caliber built for real hunting and sport shooting. This 20-inch octagonal-barrel rifle splits the difference between classic aesthetics and practical performance—light enough to carry all day in the field, accurate enough to count on at typical hunting distances. Chambered in .357 Magnum, it lets you shoot economical .38 Special loads for practice or lighter recoil work, or step up to full-power magnums for deer and similar game. The walnut checkered pistol grip and case-hardened frame give it that period-correct look, while the 10-round tube magazine keeps you in the action without constant reloads.
Lever guns have built a loyal following among hunters who value fast follow-up shots and the mechanical simplicity that works when it matters. The 1873 platform is proven, easy to maintain, and genuinely fun to shoot. At 7.59 pounds and 38.87 inches overall, it's maneuverable in brush or timber and quick to bring to bear. The buckhorn rear sight and blade front sight are traditional iron sights—no batteries, no excuses—though the rifle's top receiver will accept scout mounts or tube optics if you want to modernize.
Whether you're a lever-gun traditionalist, a .357 magnum fan looking for a versatile rifle, or someone who appreciates the mechanical elegance of older designs made right, this Taylors & Company represents real-world craftsmanship at a level that justifies the classic brown finish and walnut furniture. It's the kind of gun that feels equally at home hunting, at the range, or in the safe as a centerpiece.
