The Taurus TX22 is a lightweight, single-action rimfire pistol built for shooters who want a low-recoil platform for training, plinking, or learning the fundamentals of handgun marksmanship. With its compact 4-inch barrel and polymer frame, the TX22 delivers manageable handling in a gun that weighs just 17.3 ounces—easy to carry and shoot all day without fatigue. The two-tone finish pairs a black slide with FDE (flat dark earth) accents, giving it a modern, tactical look that fits both range bag and field work.

This single-action .22 LR comes with a 5-pound trigger from Taurus's Pittman Trigger System, producing a clean break that won't surprise you on the range. The fixed white-dot front sight pairs with an adjustable white-dot rear sight, so you can zero it quickly and dial in corrections without tools. A manual safety keeps the gun secure until you're ready to shoot, and the textured polymer grip provides a secure purchase even when your hands are wet or gloved.

The TX22 ships with two 10-round magazines plus one in the chamber, giving you 21 rounds of .22 LR to work with out of the box. A Picatinny rail (Mil-STD 1913) and 1/2x28 thread adapter are integrated, so you can mount a red-dot, light, or suppressor if your setup demands it. Whether you're breaking in a new shooter, keeping skills sharp between hunting seasons, or simply enjoying affordable trigger time, the TX22 is a no-fuss, go-anywhere rimfire that doesn't ask much and delivers consistently.
