The Taurus Raging Hunter 6.75" .44 Mag revolver in oxide finish is a serious big-bore handgun built for hunters who want stopping power and reliability in a practical field gun. This six-shot .44 Magnum chambers one of the most capable handgun cartridges available, making it well-suited for short- to medium-range hunting where you need real terminal performance. The angular barrel design keeps weight down without sacrificing the velocity and power the .44 Magnum is known for, while factory-tuned porting and the gas expansion chamber work together to manage recoil and reduce muzzle rise—helping you stay on target through follow-up shots.

The oxide finish delivers a clean, durable look that resists corrosion in the field. The revolver's double/single-action trigger gives you flexibility: you can cock the hammer for a crisp single-action shot at distance, or use the heavier double-action pull for backup or close-range work. Fixed front and adjustable rear sights let you dial in your zero and make corrections without tools. The cushioned insert grips are designed to absorb punishment from the .44 Mag's recoil while keeping the gun comfortable and controllable, even during extended shooting sessions.

A transfer bar safety ensures the gun won't fire if dropped, and the large frame is proportioned to handle the pressure and energy of full-power .44 Magnum loads. This is a hunter's revolver—built to work hard and last through seasons of use in the field.
