Taurus
The Taurus 856 Executive Grade is a 3-inch .38 Special +P revolver built for shooters who refuse to compromise on quality, finish, or handling. This is a small-frame double-action revolver that bridges the gap between serious carry capability and refined craftsmanship—engineered for those who understand that a daily-carry gun should feel as good as it performs. The 856 Executive Grade starts with a hand-polished satin stainless steel construction across the frame, cylinder, and barrel, giving it a professional appearance that works equally well at the range or under an unbuttoned shirt.
What sets the 856 apart is attention to the details that actually matter when you're shooting. The trigger system has been tuned specifically for this line, paired with an improved trigger guard and backstrap designed for comfortable control and faster target acquisition. The cylinder features chamfered chambers that speed up reloads—a practical upgrade that cuts precious milliseconds during practice or competition. A snag-free concealed hammer ensures the gun stays secure in a holster or waistband without catching fabric. The walnut checkered grip isn't just eye candy; it's shaped and textured to fit your hand naturally, reducing fatigue on longer shooting sessions.
Sights are kept simple and functional: a fixed rear sight and removable serrated front blade let you establish a sight picture quickly and make sight adjustments without gunsmithing. At 25 ounces unloaded and just 7.5 inches overall, the 856 carries like a proper snub-nose without feeling light or whippy when you shoot it. The gun feeds .38 Special and .38 Special +P ammunition, giving you flexibility in load selection for practice or carry. Everything arrives in a rugged Pelican Vault case—the kind of storage that protects your investment for decades.
If you shoot revolvers, you'll recognize the 856 Executive Grade as a gun built by people who understand what matters: smooth mechanics, honest materials, and a finish that earns its premium every time you handle it.
