The TangoDown M-LOK stubby vertical forend grip is a compact, no-nonsense solution for AR-15 and LR-308 shooters who want improved control without the bulk of a full-length grip. Built from injection-molded polymer engineered to military specification, this short grip delivers a comfortable, positive purchase on your handguard while staying out of the way—ideal for tactical carbines, hunting rigs, or any setup where real estate is tight and ergonomics matter.

What sets this grip apart is its thoughtful engineering. The compact profile gives you the hand position and support of a vertical grip in a footprint that doesn't interfere with accessories, sling mounting, or shooting in close quarters. The injection-molded polymer construction is tough enough for hard use in the field or at the range, and it won't add unnecessary weight to your rifle.

Installation is straightforward: the grip mounts directly to M-LOK rail systems using anodized aluminum hardware that resists corrosion and wear. The mounting points are engineered to keep the grip close to your rail for optimal contact and stability. Whether you're building a lightweight hunting carbine, a duty gun, or a versatile 3-gun platform, the TangoDown stubby grip is a practical way to enhance your control and consistency without compromise.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is this stubby grip compatible with my AR-15 handguard?

Yes, if your handguard features M-LOK slots. The TangoDown stubby grip is designed to mount directly to M-LOK rail systems on both AR-15 and LR-308 platforms.

What's the difference between this and a full-size vertical grip?

The stubby version is more compact and doesn't extend as far, making it ideal for tight shooting positions, close-quarters work, or setups where you don't want to sacrifice handguard real estate for slings and other accessories.

Will the aluminum mounting hardware rust?

The mounting hardware is anodized, a hardened finish that protects against corrosion and environmental wear, so it will hold up well in field and weather conditions.

Is installation complicated?

No. The grip mounts directly to M-LOK slots using the included aluminum hardware. It's a straightforward installation that requires no gunsmithing or special tools.
