Talley Manufacturing
The Talley RMRM70 is a direct-mount RMR optic base purpose-built for Winchester Model 70 rifles. If you run a red dot sight with the RMR footprint and want to skip the rail adapters, this American-made mount delivers a clean, minimal solution that sits flat on your receiver's action. It's an excellent choice for hunters and shooters who prefer the low profile and lightweight setup of a direct mount over rail-based systems.
Talley machines these bases entirely from 6000-series aluminum and hard-coat anodizes them to 65 Rockwell hardness—meaning they'll hold up under real use and stand the test of time. The engineering is tight: the mount is designed to use the two most forward holes already on the Winchester Model 70 action (works across all calibers), so installation is straightforward. You get a mounting platform sized exactly for RMR optics without unnecessary bulk.
Each mount arrives with the screws and wrench you need to bolt it on. The minimized footprint keeps your rifle's profile low and uncluttered, making it ideal if you're building a truck gun, precision .308, or dangerous-game rifle where every ounce and inch count. Talley's made-in-America quality here is rock solid—this is the kind of accessory that outlasts the optics you mount on it.

Yes—the RMRM70 is engineered specifically for the Winchester Model 70 action and uses the two most forward mounting holes. It works across all Model 70 calibers.
This is a direct RMR mount, so it accepts any optic with an RMR footprint. No rail or adapter is needed.
The mount includes all mounting screws and a wrench for installation.
A direct mount sits lower on the rifle, reduces weight and profile, and eliminates the need for a separate rail system or adapter base. It's a cleaner, more minimal setup if you're running only an RMR-footprint optic.
