The Talley 34mm Ring/Base Combo 850700SM is a matched scope mount system designed for Remington 700 short-action rifles and their variants. This integrated base-and-ring setup eliminates the guesswork of pairing compatible components and gets you up and running on the range or in the field faster than assembling separate pieces. Built for shooters who demand repeatable accuracy, the combo includes a 20 MOA elevation built into the base—an ideal angle for long-range hunting or precision shooting where you need inherent upward adjustment to dial targets at extended distances without maxing out your scope's elevation turret.
Talley has earned a reputation among serious riflemen for machining tight tolerances and maintaining rock-solid zero shift after shot strings. The 34mm tube diameter accommodates modern mid-range and premium optics, giving you flexibility to pair this mount with scopes from major manufacturers. High rings position your sight line appropriately for most standard cheek weld setups on short-action Model 700s, 721s, 722s, 725s, and 40X receivers. The black anodized finish is durable and subdued—neither flashy nor prone to corrosion under field conditions.
If you're building or upgrading a short-action 700 for hunting or tactical shooting, this combo eliminates the need to source and verify base and ring compatibility yourself. You get a single SKU that's engineered to work together, saving time and removing a potential point of failure from your setup.
