Talley Manufacturing
The Talley Picatinny rail base for Browning X-Bolt long action rifles gives you a solid, repeatable foundation for mounting your optic. Built by Talley Manufacturing—a name trusted by precision shooters for decades—this bronze-finished rail base is engineered to handle the recoil and vibration of hunting and range shooting without shift or creep. If you're setting up a long-range hunting rifle or a tack-driving centerfire, a quality rail base is where accuracy starts.
This is a zero-MOA design, meaning the rail sits parallel to your bore without introducing any elevation offset. That matters if you're running a scope that already has mechanical elevation built in, or if you prefer to dial your drops on the turrets rather than relying on your scope's internal cams. The bronze Cerakote finish delivers reliable corrosion resistance in wet conditions and matches the aesthetic of modern tactical and hunting builds.
The Talley name carries weight among shooters who demand consistency. This base accepts standard Picatinny-mount optics and will lock them down tight, shot after shot. Whether you're hunting elk at altitude, stretching shots across a valley, or running drills at the range, a properly installed rail base is insurance against surprise shifts that can ruin your zero.

Yes—this base is designed specifically for the Browning X-Bolt long action. Make sure your X-Bolt is the long action variant; short action models require a different base.
A zero-MOA base sits parallel to your barrel bore. An angled base introduces a slight upward pitch to help extend your scope's elevation range at distance. Choose zero-MOA if your scope has enough internal elevation adjustment for your shooting distance, or if you prefer simplicity and a lower sight-line height.
Any optic with a Picatinny-compatible ring or mount will attach to this base. That includes most modern rifle scopes and red dots with Picatinny footprints.
These measurements describe the vertical distance of the rail surface from the rifle's receiver at the front and rear of the base. The slight increase from front to rear (0.425" to 0.500") establishes the zero-MOA parallel alignment with your barrel.
