The Talley Picatinny 1 Piece Base for Weatherby Mark V Magnum (9 Lug) rifles delivers a solid, single-piece mounting platform designed to anchor your scope or other Picatinny-rail accessories without the complications of a two-piece system. Built for magnum-class rifles that demand rock-solid stability, this black base is engineered to handle the recoil of heavy-hitting cartridges while maintaining zero shot after shot. If you run a Mark V Magnum and want a dependable optics mount that won't shift, this is the real deal.

Talley bases are known in the precision rifle community for their no-nonsense manufacturing and tight tolerances. The one-piece design means fewer potential points of failure and less maintenance compared to split-ring or modular systems. You get the scope ring interface (0 MOA, so it mounts parallel to your receiver) and the mounting foot integrated into one rigid unit, which is why serious hunters and range shooters reach for them when accuracy matters.

Installation is straightforward once you confirm the fit is correct for your specific rifle. The black finish matches modern tactical aesthetics and resists corrosion. This is a utilitarian piece of gear—nothing flashy, everything functional. Pair it with quality rings and the right scope, and you've got the foundation for a hunting rig or target rifle you can trust.

Frequently Asked Questions

Will this base fit my Weatherby Mark V Magnum?

Yes—this base is specifically designed for Weatherby Mark V Magnum rifles with 9 lug receivers. Always verify your rifle's exact model and receiver configuration before ordering.

What does 0 MOA mean?

0 MOA means the base mounts parallel to the receiver, with no built-in elevation adjustment. Your scope or optic will sit square to the rifle without any canting or pre-tilted angle.

Can I use this with any Picatinny rail scope?

This base provides the Picatinny rail interface for mounting scopes and accessories with Picatinny adapters or rings. Ensure your scope rings are also Picatinny-compatible for proper fit and alignment.

Is this a one-piece or two-piece mount?

This is a one-piece base, meaning the entire mounting platform is integrated. There are no separate front and rear bases to align, which simplifies installation and reduces potential points of shifting.
