Talley Lightweight scope rings for Savage round receivers deliver a no-nonsense mounting solution that combines integrated ring-and-base engineering with the durability hunters and shooters expect. These 1-inch diameter rings in LOW height are purpose-built for 8-40 action screws, eliminating the weak points inherent in traditional two-piece designs where ring and base can shift or loosen under recoil. By uniting both functions into a single CNC-machined unit, Talley removes that interface vulnerability while keeping weight down—a meaningful advantage on rifles where every ounce counts.

Machined from aircraft-grade aluminum to tight tolerances, these rings arrive ready to mount without lapping, a feature that saves time and lets you trust immediate zero stability. The rigid, integrated design is stronger than typical steel ring-and-base pairs despite being lighter, and the engineering reflects Talley's four decades refining precision scope mounts for hunters, long-range shooters, and serious field users. American-made from start to finish, with CNC automation and quality controls baked into every step, these rings represent the kind of unglamorous, proven hardware that performs in the backcountry or on the range without fuss or failure.

Choose Talley LW rings if you want a dependable mounting platform that won't ghost zero or develop play after a season of hard use—the kind of component that disappears into the job and lets you focus on your shot.

Frequently Asked Questions

Will these rings fit my Savage rifle?

Yes, these Talley LW rings are engineered for Savage round receivers and use 8-40 action screws. Confirm your rifle's receiver type before ordering.

Do I need to lap these scope rings?

No. Talley's CNC precision manufacturing brings these rings to tight tolerances right from the factory, so lapping is not required. They're ready to install and mount your scope immediately.

How does the integrated ring-and-base design improve performance?

By combining the ring and base into a single machined unit, Talley eliminates the potential for misalignment or loosening that can occur where separate rings and bases join. This design delivers better zero repeatability and durability under recoil while keeping weight lower than comparable two-piece steel systems.

What scope tube diameter do these rings accept?

These are 1-inch rings, designed for scopes with 1-inch diameter tubes.
