The Talley Lightweight 2-Piece Scope Mount with Integral 1" Rings is purpose-built for Knight MK 85 muzzleloaders and shooters who refuse to compromise between solid optics mounting and weight savings. Unlike traditional two-piece bases and rings that introduce potential alignment issues at the joint, Talley's integrated design fuses the base and rings into a unitized structure that keeps everything rigid and in spec, shot after shot. This is particularly valuable for muzzleloader hunters who pack their rifle across rough terrain—you get the strength of a precision mount without the heft.

Built from 7000-series aluminum alloy, the mount is precision CNC-machined to deliver durability typically associated with steel, but at a fraction of the weight. The black anodized finish resists corrosion during long seasons in the field. Medium height positioning is engineered to work with Knight MK 85 platforms, giving you the eye relief and sight picture your optic needs without improvised shims or spacers. The integral 1-inch rings mean one less component to worry about—you're not mixing and matching bases and rings from different manufacturers, which eliminates a common source of loose connections and POI shifts.

If you're serious about muzzleloader accuracy and want a mount that'll stay put through recoil and temperature swings, this Talley system eliminates the weak link in the chain. It's the kind of mount that lets you focus on the hunt, not whether your scope is going to stay where you zeroed it.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is this mount compatible with Knight MK 85 muzzleloaders?

Yes. This Talley mount is engineered specifically for Knight MK 85 platforms, with medium height positioning suited to that rifle.

What size scope rings does this mount use?

The integral rings are machined for 1-inch scope tubes.

How does the unitized design improve performance compared to separate base and ring sets?

The integral construction eliminates the joint where a traditional base and rings connect, removing potential misalignment and loose connections. This keeps your scope zero solid through recoil and field conditions without any shift at the base-to-ring interface.

Will this reduce weight compared to traditional steel mounts?

Yes. The 7000-series aluminum alloy provides steel-like durability and strength while weighing considerably less, which matters when you're carrying a muzzleloader over distance.
