The Tactical Solutions X-Ring Open Sight Barrel transforms your Ruger 10/22 into a lighter, faster-handling rimfire that doesn't sacrifice accuracy. Built from 6061-T6 aluminum and fitted with a rifled chromoly steel liner, this 16.5" barrel delivers the precision you need for plinking, small-game hunting, or casual target shooting. The polished 11-degree crown and 1:16 twist rifling work together to tighten groups, while the threaded .920" diameter muzzle (1/2x28 pitch) opens the door to suppressors, flash hiders, or other muzzle devices. It's a straightforward upgrade that bolts onto any Ruger 10/22 receiver—or most aftermarket 10/22-pattern actions—without gunsmithing.

What sets the X-Ring apart is the complete fiber optic sight package. You get an adjustable green fiber optic rear sight and matching green fiber optic front sight right out of the box, so you can hit the range or field immediately without hunting down additional optics. The green fiber is bright in field conditions and quick to acquire, making this barrel a genuinely practical choice for hunters or shooters who prefer open sights over rail-mounted glass.

Whether you're threading on a suppressor for quiet backyard shooting, building a dedicated .22 trainer, or just want a lighter, more accurate factory replacement, the X-Ring delivers the kind of real-world improvement that shows up on paper. The aluminum construction keeps weight down, and the proven Tactical Solutions engineering means you're buying reliability, not hype.

Frequently Asked Questions

Will this barrel fit my Ruger 10/22 and aftermarket receivers?

Yes. The X-Ring barrel is designed to fit all standard Ruger 10/22 receivers and most aftermarket 10/22-pattern receivers. If you're using a nonstandard or proprietary receiver platform, confirm compatibility before ordering.

Can I add a suppressor or muzzle brake to this barrel?

Yes. The barrel features a 1/2x28 threaded muzzle, which is the standard pitch for most .22 LR suppressors, flash hiders, and other muzzle devices. Thread on whatever accessory suits your needs.

What sights come with this barrel?

The X-Ring comes complete with an adjustable green fiber optic rear sight and a green fiber optic front sight. Both are ready to use out of the box, so you don't need to purchase sights separately.

Is this barrel good for hunting small game?

The improved accuracy from the chromoly liner and polished crown, combined with the lighter aluminum weight and included open sights, make this a practical choice for small-game hunting or field work. The threaded muzzle also allows you to add a suppressor for quieter, more ethical shots.
