Tactical Solutions
The Tactical Solutions Owyhee Magnum is a bolt-action .22 WMR takedown rifle purpose-built for hunters, backpackers, and shooters who need genuine magnum performance in a package light enough to carry all day. At just 4.1 lbs, this is one of the lightest takedown rifles on the market—a significant advantage when you're covering ground on foot or packing into remote country. The 16.5-inch barrel delivers .22 Magnum velocity and accuracy in a truly compact platform, and the FDE finish blends durability with field practicality.
What sets the Owyhee apart is its engineering philosophy: a bolt-action design that cycles quieter than semi-automatic alternatives when running suppressed, paired with genuine takedown capability. The push-button, twist-to-separate mechanism means you can collapse the rifle for pack-ability without tools or complicated assembly. The chromoly steel bore and 11-degree target crown deliver the precision you'd expect from a purpose-designed rifle, not a compromise build. The aluminum receiver and stainless steel bolt are built to handle repeated takedowns without wear, and the 1/2 x 28 threaded muzzle accepts suppressors and compensators directly.
The gun ships with fiber optic front and rear sights for quick target acquisition in dim light, plus a pre-installed scope rail for mounting glass if you prefer. The safety sits behind the trigger for intuitive access while maintaining security. Magazine changes are fast thanks to the extended release, and the 9-round rotary magazine feeds reliably through the action. Whether you're after varmints, small game, or just precision plinking off the bench, the Owyhee gives you magnum capability where competitors offer compromises.
