The Tactical Solutions X-Ring 16.5" bull barrel for Ruger 10/22 Takedown is a precision drop-in replacement that transforms your rifle's accuracy without compromising its modular design. Built with an aluminum exterior and steel bore liner, this barrel delivers the rigidity that shooters demand for tighter groups at the range or in the field. The X-Ring is engineered to fit Magpul and Hogue takedown stocks with .920" O.D. barrel channels, meaning zero gunsmithing—just swap and shoot. Coming in gunmetal gray with fluted construction, it's as functional as it is clean-looking on the rifle.
Setup is genuinely fast. The barrel retains the same locking mechanism as the factory takedown barrel, so you're not learning a new system or fumbling with proprietary hardware. It arrives fully assembled with fiber optic front sight and fully adjustable rear sight already installed, eliminating the need to source or dial in aftermarket iron sights separately. The 1/2" x 28 tpi threaded muzzle accepts Tactical Solutions X-Ring suppressors and compensators, or a wide variety of other 1/2-28 devices you may already own.
Weight discipline matters when you're carrying a takedown rifle into the field, and at 16 ounces, the X-Ring won't burden you. The 1-16" rifling twist pairs well with standard 10/22 ammunition across the velocity and bullet-weight spectrum. Whether you're running suppressed, testing loads for precision, or just packing a lightweight truck gun, this barrel keeps the Ruger 10/22 Takedown in the conversation as a serious small-game and training platform.
