TacStar
The TacStar 6-round shotshell carrier with raised Picatinny rail is a field-proven way to keep extra ammunition within arm's reach on your Remington 870, 1100, or 11-87. This side-mounted aluminum carrier clamps to both sides of the receiver without requiring a gunsmith, making it a practical upgrade for home defense, tactical training, or hunting scenarios where you need quick access to reserve rounds. The anodized finish resists glare and corrosion, and the low-profile design stays out of your way while you shoot.
What sets this carrier apart is the raised Picatinny rail machined into the top, which lets you mount optics, lights, or other accessories without sacrificing your shotgun's native bead sight. You get genuine mounting real estate and a functional ammunition reservoir in one piece—six shells staged and secure, ready when you need them. The aluminum construction keeps weight down, and the rigid mounting means zero wobble once it's clamped on.
Installation is straightforward: clamp it to your receiver, load your shells, and go. It's the kind of upgrade that makes sense whether you're setting up a home-defense shotgun, running drills at the range, or preparing a hunting gun for situations where you can't afford to stop and reload. No permanent modifications, no special tools, and it works right out of the box.
