TacFire
The TacFire MAR108 anti-walk pin set solves one of the most common AR-15 assembly headaches: trigger and hammer pins that creep loose during shooting. If you've ever had to field-strip your rifle mid-range session to re-seat pins that drifted out, you know the frustration. These black steel pins are engineered with a detent design that prevents migration without requiring special tools or permanent modifications to your receiver. Whether you're building a new AR, upgrading a duty rifle, or just tired of chasing loose pins, the MAR108 keeps your trigger group locked in place.
TacFire's pin set is straightforward parts-bin reliability—no exotic materials or complicated installation. The black steel construction is durable and corrosion-resistant enough for field use, and the anti-walk geometry works within standard AR-15 tolerances, so fitment is consistent. This is the kind of small-parts upgrade that doesn't grab headlines but quietly solves a real problem on builds across all platforms and use cases, from range days to hunting rifles to duty configurations.
Installation is straightforward for anyone comfortable with basic AR assembly. If you're not there yet, this is a good reminder that proper pin seating matters—good pins are just half the equation. The MAR108 is an affordable insurance policy against having to disassemble your lower mid-string or discovering loose pins during cleaning.
Yes. The TacFire MAR108 is designed for standard AR-15 receivers and works within typical factory tolerances. If your receiver was properly machined to MILSPEC dimensions, these pins will fit.
No. The anti-walk pins work with your existing receiver holes. Installation is the same as standard pins—no drilling, cutting, or permanent changes.
The anti-walk geometry on these pins prevents the trigger and hammer pins from creeping loose during shooting. Standard pins can migrate over time; these are engineered to stay put.
The MAR108 is a two-pin set covering both the trigger pin and hammer pin for the lower receiver.
