The Allen Tac Six Garrison 55" rifle case is a soft-sided transport solution built for hunters, shooters, and anyone who needs reliable protection for longer-barreled rifles and precision firearms. At 55 inches, it accommodates full-length performance rifles that don't fit standard short cases, making it a practical choice for magnum builds, suppressor-equipped setups, and other non-compact configurations. The OD Green 600D polyester exterior is tough enough for truck beds and airline baggage while remaining lightweight enough to carry without exhaustion.
Construction centers on heavy-duty foam padding that cushions your rifle during transit—whether that's a bumpy off-road trip, a flight to hunt camp, or storage in a vehicle. The reinforced stitching handles repeated packing and the wear that comes with field use. Inside, an adjustable strap system keeps your gun stable and prevents shift during transport, so you arrive at your destination with zero surprises.
Pockets and attachment points are distributed logically: a large front flap pocket holds ammunition, cleaning kits, or small accessories; lashing straps on the front flap provide external gear loops; and a rear zippered pocket keeps frequently accessed items separate from your firearm. An adjustable, removable shoulder strap makes single-handed carry feasible for shorter distances, while a grab strap near the nose adds handling points when you're moving it with both hands. A hanging loop with D-ring is useful for storage or vehicle tie-downs, and the lockable design adds a basic security layer in shared spaces.
If your rifle is longer than 48 inches or if you run a suppressor, muzzle brake, or other muzzle device that pushes your overall length beyond standard case limits, the Tac Six Garrison's 55-inch span gives you the clearance you need without cramped fit.
| Length | 55 inches |
| Material | 600D Polyester (exterior), Heavy-duty foam (interior) |
| Color | OD Green |
| Model Number | 10954 |
| Shoulder Strap | Adjustable and removable |
| Closure Type | Lockable |
| Pockets | Large front flap pocket, rear zippered pocket |
The 55-inch length is designed to accommodate longer rifles, including those with suppressors or muzzle brakes attached. Measure your complete rifle from the muzzle to the end of the stock to confirm it fits within 55 inches.
The Garrison is 55 inches overall, giving you 7 additional inches of length—that extra space is the margin of error needed for longer barrels, muzzle devices, or magnum builds that exceed standard case dimensions. Most hunting and target rifles under 48 inches will fit comfortably in either, but longer setups need the extra room.
Yes. The shoulder strap is adjustable and can be removed entirely if you prefer to carry or store the case without it.
The case features a lockable design, which provides basic security in shared spaces or during storage. For air travel, verify current airline requirements for firearms case locks; TSA and specific carriers have their own rules.
