The Swampfox Patriot Precision Series 4-16X44 rifle scope with first focal plane reticle is built for shooters who demand clarity, adjustment precision, and reliability in the field. Whether you're dialing long-range hunting shots, running a precision rifle at the range, or competing under pressure, this FFP scope is engineered to deliver a consistent sight picture across its magnification range and the tools to land hits when it counts. The generous eye box and optimized internal geometry mean you get a flat, clear view even at high magnifications—no tunnel vision, no eye relief surprises.
What sets the Patriot apart is its commitment to functional details. The glass-etched first focal plane reticle holds true across all magnifications, so your holdovers and ranging marks work the same way whether you're at 4X or 16X. The Sharpshooter grid is purpose-built for accurate ranging and compensating for wind and bullet drop at distance. You get your choice of two magnification throw fins—low and high profile—so you can adjust your field of view as fast as your shooting situation changes. Zero-resettable tactical turrets are audible and tactile, giving you confidence that your adjustments are true. The adjustable parallax runs from 20 yards to infinity, keeping your sight picture sharp regardless of target distance.
Build quality matches the performance specs. Turret travel maxes out at 90 MOA or 26 MIL, depending on which adjustment system you choose. Available in both MOA (0.25 MOA per click) and MRAD (.01 MRAD per click) configurations, so you can match your reticle to your preferred ballistic software. The scope arrives ready to work: short and tall throw fins, flip-up lens caps, a microfiber cloth, and a 3-inch sunshade are all included.
| Magnification Range | 4X–16X |
| Objective Lens Diameter | 44mm |
| Reticle Type | Sharpshooter Grid, first focal plane, glass-etched |
| Reticle Options | Sharpshooter MOA or Sharpshooter MRAD |
| Turret Adjustment (MOA) | 0.25 MOA per click |
| Turret Adjustment (MRAD) | 0.01 MRAD per click |
| Total Elevation Adjustment | 90 MOA or 26 MIL |
| Parallax Adjustment | 20 yards to infinity |
| Turret Type | Zero-resettable tactical turrets, audible and tactile clicks |
| Accessories Included | Low- and high-profile magnification throw fins, flip-up lens caps, microfiber cloth, 3" sunshade |
The Patriot is a first focal plane (FFP) scope. The Sharpshooter reticle is etched directly into the glass at the first focal plane, which means your ranging marks and holdover points remain accurate at any magnification setting. This is ideal for precision shooting and long-range hunting where you'll be adjusting magnification in the field.
Both versions use the same scope with the same reticle, but the turrets are calibrated differently. MOA (minute of angle) turrets adjust at 0.25 MOA per click, while MRAD turrets adjust at 0.01 MRAD per click. Choose based on your ballistic software and whether you prefer to work in MOA or MRAD for your long-range calculations.
Yes. The Patriot ships with both low- and high-profile throw fins included, so you can choose which best suits your mounting setup and personal preference for how much leverage you want when adjusting magnification in the field.
Parallax adjustment removes the visual blur caused when your eye position doesn't align perfectly with the scope's optical axis at various distances. The Patriot's parallax adjustment ranges from 20 yards to infinity, allowing you to dial in the exact distance to your target and maintain a crisp sight picture no matter how far out you're shooting.
