Superlative Arms
The Superlative Arms AR-15 clamp-on adjustable gas block is built around a patented "bleed-off" design that sets it apart from conventional adjustable gas blocks. Instead of restricting gas flow like traditional adjustable blocks, this .936" bore gas block bleeds excess pressure out of the system, allowing you to tune gas flow to the exact amount your rifle needs. The result is cleaner operation, cooler running temps, less felt recoil, and a system that handles suppressors and short-barrel rifles without the excessive backpressure that plagues standard designs.
The adjustment mechanism is located outside the block itself, which means your adjustment screw never gets gunked up with carbon or seized by high heat. That external detent also includes a safety stop to prevent accidentally backing the screw completely out during field adjustments. The gas block is machined from 416 stainless steel and clamps directly onto your .936" barrel—no permanent installation required. It ships fully assembled with everything you need: two socket head cap screws, a gas tube roll pin, and hex keys for installation and tuning.
Whether you're running a suppressor, a short-barrel rifle, or just want your AR to run smoother and cooler than stock, this adjustable gas block gives you the control to dial in your exact setup. It's the kind of upgrade that makes a real difference in how your gun performs downrange and at the bench.

Yes. The bleed-off design allows excessive pressure to be exhausted out of the block, which reduces backpressure and makes this block particularly effective on suppressed and SBR setups where standard adjustable blocks can over-pressurize your system.
Conventional adjustable blocks restrict gas flow to tune pressure. The Superlative Arms bleed-off block instead allows full gas flow through the block and exhausts only the excess pressure needed beyond what your bolt carrier requires. This keeps the system running cleaner and cooler while eliminating carbon buildup on the adjustment screw.
No. Because the adjustment mechanism is located outside the block and doesn't restrict gas flow, the screw won't erode or seize from carbon accumulation. The external detent also includes a safety mechanism to prevent accidental over-adjustment.
