Strike King
The Strike King Thunder Cricket Vibrating Swim Jig in 1/2-ounce Sexy Shad is a bladed swim jig engineered by some of bass fishing's most proven names—Kevin VanDam, Greg Hackney, and Andy Montgomery. If you're looking for a vibrating swim jig that delivers consistent thump and flash whether you're hunting shallow cover or working deeper structure, this is a workhorse that belongs in your tacklebox.
What sets the Thunder Cricket apart is its stainless steel blade—ultra-thin and ultra-stiff—paired with Strike King's Panther Hide paint finish for durability and visual appeal. The blade design generates that signature vibration and flash that draws strikes from active fish, while the jig's profile handles a range of retrieval speeds. Fish it fast along grass lines, slow-roll it through timber, or anything in between. The jungle-style flipping hook is built for solid hookups when fish commit.
The 1/2-ounce weight is versatile enough for shallow to mid-depth presentations and pairs well with a variety of trailers and retrieve styles. Whether conditions call for a steady swim through open water or a rhythmic pulse near cover, this jig adapts. The Sexy Shad colorway is a proven bass attractor that works across a range of water clarity and light conditions.
