Strike King
The Strike King Rattlin Rage Craw is a 4-inch soft plastic crawfish lure built for bass and freshwater predators that hunt by sound and sight. This green pumpkin pattern mimics a natural crayfish, but with a built-in edge: an internal rattle chamber housed in the tail that produces noise on every cast, pause, and retrieve. The rattle draws strikes from inactive fish and helps them locate your bait in murky water, vegetation, or low-light conditions—giving you an extra attention-grabber that silent plastics can't match.
The genius of the Rattlin Rage Craw is that the rattle doesn't compromise the lure's action. The tail moves with a natural crawfish-like motion, and the internal rattle chamber is designed so you won't sacrifice hookset performance or casting distance. Whether you're flipping into heavy cover, dragging along the bottom, or working open water, this craw balances the aggression of a noisemaker with the proven effectiveness of a lifelike crayfish profile.
Green pumpkin is a versatile choice that performs year-round in clear to moderately stained water. It's equally at home on a jig as a trailer, rigged on a Texas rig, or fished on a Carolina setup. If you're serious about covering water efficiently and triggering bites from bass that might otherwise ignore silent baits, the Rattlin Rage Craw earns its place in your tackle box.
| Brand | Strike King |
| Product Type | Soft Plastic Crawfish |
| Length | 4 inches |
| Color | Green Pumpkin |
| Feature | Internal Rattle in Tail |
The internal rattle chamber produces noise on the cast and throughout your retrieve, giving fish an audible cue to find your bait. The tradeoff is minimal—the rattle is engineered so the craw still moves naturally and doesn't affect your ability to set the hook.
Yes. The 4-inch size and soft plastic construction make it suitable for rigging as a jig trailer or flipping bait, as well as for standalone Texas rig and Carolina rig presentations.
Green pumpkin performs best in clear to moderately stained water. It's a year-round color that balances visibility and natural appearance in most freshwater conditions.
No. Strike King designed the internal rattle chamber so it doesn't interfere with your hookset or the lure's action. You get the attraction of the rattle without sacrificing performance.
