Strike King
The Strike King Hack Attack Fluorocarbon Flipping Jig in 1/2 oz is purpose-built for bass anglers who need a stealthy presentation in clear water. Designed by 14-time Bassmaster Classic qualifier Greg Hackney, this flipping jig takes the proven Hack Attack platform and adapts it specifically for anglers throwing fluorocarbon line—a setup that demands a different approach than traditional braid in gin-clear conditions. The compact head sits on a super-strong custom siwash hook that won't let you down when you're fishing heavy cover.
What makes this jig stand out is the large 0° line tie, engineered specifically for fluorocarbon and positioned to deliver direct inline energy transfer to your hook on the set. That matters when you're flipping matted vegetation, downed timber, or dock pilings and need confidence in every hookset. The design is extremely weedless, so you can probe thick cover without constant hangups eating into your productive fishing time. If you've been relying on braid for flipping but want to downsize to fluoro for a less visible approach in clearer water, this jig bridges that gap without sacrificing strength or reliability.
The 1/2 oz size is a solid middle-ground weight for flipping—heavy enough to punch through light to moderate cover and drop quickly to the zone, but not so heavy that it fatigues your hand and arm on an all-day grind. Available in Black, Brown, and Amber, you can match natural forage and wood-stained water conditions. This is the jig for anglers who understand that stealth and strength aren't mutually exclusive.
