Strike King
The Strike King Football Jig 1/2oz in Gator Craw is a deepwater bass jig built for anglers who fish ledges, channel drops, and hard bottom structure where big bass hunt. The distinctive football-shaped head sits stable on the bottom while providing the subtle vibration and feel that triggers strikes from aggressive fish. Whether you're fishing a reservoir, natural lake, or river system, this jig's half-ounce weight cuts through current and reaches depth without unnecessary bulk—making it a versatile choice for year-round bottom fishing.
The flat eye line tie keeps your knot, line, and jig aligned for cleaner, more reliable hooksets. That matters when you're targeting trophy bass at depth, where missed opportunities cost time and effort. The Gamakatsu round bend hook is sharpened to a 60-degree angle, giving you the bite geometry needed to drive the point home on hard-mouthed fish. Paired with a durable powder-coated finish and color-matched weedguard, this jig is built to handle rough bottoms and repeated casts without chipping or corrosion.
The Gator Craw color mimics natural crawfish—one of the most reliable baits for bass across seasons and water types. Combine it with a soft plastic trailer, and you've got a presentation that looks and feels like a natural meal on the bottom. The premium skirt material produces lifelike movement, whether you're hopping the jig along structure or dragging it slowly through deeper zones.
