The Strike Industries Mini King Comp muzzle brake is a compact compensator purpose-built for 9mm carbines. If you're running a PCC and want better muzzle control without the bulk of a full-size comp, this single-chamber design delivers recoil mitigation and shot-to-shot stability in a lighter, more nimble package. The stainless steel nitride finish handles hard use and corrosion equally well.

At its core, the Mini King Comp uses a large single baffle to capture and redirect expanding gases—the fundamental job of any compensator. Vented ports work to stabilize the muzzle during recoil impulse, helping you track your sights faster between rounds and manage concussion signature without sacrificing the low-recoil benefits 9mm carbines are known for. The crowned tines at the muzzle end serve double duty: they mitigate some concussion effect and protect the brake during contact, whether you're transitioning around obstacles or working in tight quarters.

Installation is straightforward: threads are 1/2-28, the industry standard for most 9mm carbine barrels. The package includes a crush washer for proper timing. Built to integrate seamlessly into an existing 9mm PCC setup without requiring barrel modifications or special adapters.

Frequently Asked Questions

Will this fit my 9mm carbine?

The Mini King Comp is designed for 9mm carbines with 1/2-28 threaded muzzles. Check your barrel's thread pitch before purchase—this is the standard thread size for most 9mm PCCs, but some may differ.

What's included in the package?

You get the Mini King Comp compensator and a crush washer for installation. No additional tools or parts are needed for mounting to a correctly threaded barrel.

How does this compare to a full-size King Comp?

The Mini King Comp retains the core recoil mitigation and muzzle-control features of Strike Industries' full-size design but in a more compact, lighter configuration optimized specifically for the 9mm carbine platform. It's tuned for the lower recoil impulse of 9mm while maintaining performance without adding unnecessary length or weight.

Does this brake reduce felt concussion?

The design includes features intended to help manage concussion—the vented ports and crowned tines both contribute to this goal—though the primary focus is recoil mitigation and muzzle stabilization for faster follow-up shots.
